Srinagar, Sep 15 (KNO): The weatherman here has predicted no significant weather activity till September 23, saying that generally fair weather is expected with possibility of brief spell of light rain at few places for the next two days. According to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director Meteorological Department (MeT), Dr Mukhtar Ahmad shared a week-long forecast, stating that for the next two days till September 17, generally fair weather is expected with possibility of brief spell of light rain at few places with brief intense showers. He said that on September 18 & 19, a spell of light rain and thunder at scattered places with brief moderate showers is expected at a few places towards late night of 18th and early morning of 19th. Furthermore, he said that from September 20 to 23, generally dry weather is expected, adding that overall, nothing significant is expected till September 23rd. Also, in its advisory, the MeT has stated that there is a possibility of landslides and shooting stones at few vulnerable places. The farmers have been advised to continue harvesting of paddy & other farm operations—(KNO)
